Topical Acne Curing Medications

Acne may be mild as well as moderate. If you are suffering from acute form of acne then proper and best acne treatment is necessary, otherwise your acne may be converted into severe scars. Acne curing treatments may include topical and systematic acne solutions.

Here, in this article we will discuss the topical acne medications. When it comes to the topical acne curing medications, benzoyl peroxide is included in the solution. It works extremely well to kill bacteria when you apply the medication on your skin. But the drawback of this medication is that applying it continuously on your skin for many days may dry your skin and make it irritating. Azeilic acid is also added in the solution, which is also known to do the same reaction like that of benzoyl peroxide. However, it is also helpful to wipe out the darker complexions that are generated due to the break out of acne. It also shows some side effects to the infected person. When you apply the solution on your acne-affected area it result in impermanent discoloration and may also lead to extreme dryness.

“Propionibacterium acnes” is a very common form of acne. But this can be cured if you use the topical acne medication made of the solution that consists of benzoyl peroxide and Erythromycin.

Sodium Sulfacetamide treatment is also used to cure acne. Though this medication is not known to block the production of the bacteria that are causing you acne, but it is effective in controlling inflammation and clogged pores. The bad and unacceptable smell of this solution is its drawback and people don’t use it for treatment of acne.
