How Bio-Identical Hormones Work for Anti Aging Treatment in Tampa
Aside from weight loss treatments, anti aging treatments are the most sought after therapies by today’s population where the fastest growing sector is aged 50 and above. Anti aging treatments are the recourse of seniors who hope to counteract the debilitating symptoms of advanced years. Through anti aging strategies, they hope to defy age and recapture the level of health and wellness they had earlier. It has been shown that when bio-identical hormone therapy is done within ten years of the onset of menopause, hormonal protection against strokes, heart attacks and breast cancer is restored.
There are accusations that not enough long-term studies have been done on bio-identical hormones. However, the fact that there are more than 20 bio-identical hormone products in the market today approved by the USFDA means that these products have undergone extensive and stringent studies and testing. Among those products are Climara® patch, Vivelle® dot, Evamist® spray, and Prometrium® capsules (progesterone).
There are also compounding pharmacies that can serve bio-identical hormones at customized doses prescribed by physicians.
