Can I just use the first and third steps of the Proactiv System?
So last week, I ran out of the 2nd step for Proactiv – the Revitalizing Toner. I just used the first and third step (renewing cleanser and repairing treatment) for two weeks, and for some reason I saw an improvement in my skin – a significant one – during those two weeks! I just started using the Revitalizing Toner again and I already can feel a pimple coming. Is it just a coincidence? If not, do you think I can just skip the Revitalizing Toner and just stick with the cleanser and treatment??
The toner is just to get rid of the excess suds and bacteria that the 1st step didn’t take away. So if you wash your face for at least one minute, and wash it of completely, then you’ll be fine.
You can buy another toner though, I highly recommend witch-hazel. When I had it, that’s all I used and my pimples were so gone with just using that. I haven’t had the chance to buy it recently so my pimples are kinda creeping back.
