• Extracting the whiteheads (closed comedones) is a procedure that should be done by a qualified Dermatologist, but some people do it themselves with a comedone extractor. Be careful. If this procedure is not performed correctly, it can cause damaging effects to your skin and not even remove the whiteheads, making them worse.
