Homemade Face Masks
Face masks have been part of loveliness regimen of women since ancient times. Homemade beauty face-packs, facial masks and scrubs based on natural ingredients help advance the skin disorders like blemishes and acne scars. You can utilize basic ingredients found around the house to make your own simple, hydrating masks. If you have oily or acne prone skin, mud or clay-based masks are great for balancing out your skin. Dry skin will benefit from hydrating masks made from glycerin, honey and oils. Here are a few basic face masks that you can make on your own, and in a matter of minutes.
Turmeric Facial Mask
Turmeric Facial Mask is the conventional mask, also used for a bride. Take in a cup half a cup of besan (gram flour), two tablespoon of turmeric face powder, two tablespoon of sandal wood powder, Two tablespoon of ghee or almond oil, add some water to make a paste. Apply to face and entire body and leave for 5-10 minutes. Rub with pressure with both palms and fingers to remove all the paste.
Strawberries and honey Facial Mask
Crush a handful of strawberries and blend well with 1 tablespoon. honey. Apply to face and let situate for about 15 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp rinse cloth.
Yogurt Face Mask
Yogurt Face Mask is great for soothing a sunburnt face. Yogurt Face Mask great for all skin types. Ingredients: Take in a cup1 tbsp natural yogurt, room temperature and 1 tsp runny honey (microwave for a few minutes to soften hardened honey). Combine mixture, then apply to face. Squash a banana thoroughly and blend it with 1 teaspoon honey and 2 teaspoons yogurt and apply it on the face evenly. Leave it on the face till the skin absorbs it thoroughly and dries completely on the face and then rinse it off with cold water.
Tomato Facial Mask
Mash up a ripe tomato and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Wash with warm water.
Ginseng or green tea masks are great for soothing skin.
