Three Specific Tips to Overcome Acne
Having acne myself, for many years I know that dealing with it, is not an easy situation. It not only destroys your look but also it affects your self confidence. Acne is caused due to overproduction of oil called sebum by sebaceous glands. By spending many hours trying to fix my problem I found three things which helped me overcome my acne problem. All these worked for me so they can really work for you.
The three tips to overcome acne are the bellow:
Tip No1:
In order to get rid of acne first of all you have to take good care of your face. In order to that you must wash your face twice a day with a mild-soap cleanser, apply a medication which is known to be acne-fighter like Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid and use an oil-free moisturizer like Aloe Vera to avoid dry skin. Don’t forget that you have to do the above everyday for a serious amount of time (at least 1 month). You can ask your doctor to prescribe you a medication and help you take care of your skin.
Tip No2:
Good take care of your face must be combined with acne-fighting diet. That means you must stay away of all acne aggravators like dairy products, white bread, refined sugar, fats and soda. Instead of them you must eat more of fruits and vegetables and include vitamins like A, B, E and Zinc in your daily diet. Don’t forget to avoid soft drinks and caffeine and drink a lot of water (8 glasses daily) instead in order to keep your skin hydrated.
Tip No3:
The last tip in order to overcome acne is to change your lifestyle a bit. You must avoid touching your skin (especially with dirty hands) because you may transfer bacteria and lead to more acne breakouts. Also you must have a lot of sleep (8 hours daily) to help your skin recover. Avoid over exposure to sun because it may lead to more dry-tight skin and more acne. Finally you must avoid all things which can cause irritation of your skin.
All the above can help you overcome your acne problem. You have to follow them with trust and not give them up from the first week if you don’t have the expected results.
