How can I get rid of and prevent Cystic Acne?
I get normal acne too, but the cystic acne is so painful. I use a Neutrogena wash day and night, and Differin at night but the Differin doesn’t seem to help… what can I use to get rid of and prevent acne and cystic acne? Is there something else my doc can prescribe?

I’ve been using that Max Clarity stuff, as well as the green tea moisturizer from pro active (cause i really like it for some reason.) It’s cleared up my face a little more than the other stuff that I have used. Also, I read this random article about putting a fresh clean towel on your pillow every night. I just went out and bought 10 hand towels to try this. The first night I broke out like crazy because I spaced out and forgot to wash the towels before I used them. (You know how many people have touched those? ICK!) Anyhow, these past few mornings my face has been looking a lot better. Not totally clear yet but I’ve got high hopes for this towel business. I’ve had acne since I was in 4th grade (I’m now 25) and one of these days it would be nice if something worked like it was supposed to. Best of luck to you and all the other acne sufferers out there. I have severe Cystic acne is there a cheap cure or home remedy I can do? I am 29 yrs old female?
I dont have much money to spend on anything expensive i did try clean and clear acne kit made it worse and proactiv did not help. i need something and something fast these cystic like ance comes on my chin and it hurts and its embarrassing at my age i never had these in my life until just a few months ago. i am not on birth control bills so i dont have that extra hormones in my body and i am not pregnant either. is there any sugesstions?

According to http://cureacnezone.com/acne-home-remedies , effective home remedies would include any of the following: lemon peel, mint spray, orange peel paste, aloe vera, basil leaves or rose water. Take your pick. I’m sure you would find something from there that you can easily prepare.

Any good acne treatments for cystic acne and scarring?
Does anyone know of any good acne products/perscriptions for cystic acne and scarring? I’m currently using Glytone, which helps clear up but I’m tired of wearing make-up to the gym which I shouldn’t even do but it’s better than wearing no make-up.

Cystic acne is treatable with Accutane. Unfortunately it comes with a booklet that you (and your parents, if you’re a minor) have to go over carefully, due to side effects (which are many). But I have seen it work wonderfully on most patient. Only dermatologists can prescribe it so you may need to get a referral from your primary care physician to see one.
It is more troublesome for female patients as she must go on birth control pills (regardless if she is sexually active or not), and if she’s sexually active, her partner must use condom. She also has to get pregnancy test every month, along with other lab works (Liver function test, CBC, complete blood count, and lipids).
For boys, we don’t have to do pregnancy test obviously.
It’s not to be taken lightly, but when it works, it really works. Do discuss it with your doctor, please, about the pro and con of this medication (there are generic versions now–a bit cheaper). Never never try your friend’s or get it in the black market.

How do you treat cystic acne?
I have cystic acne and i have yet to find an over the counter product that will help me. I do not want to go to a dermatologist because it is too expensive. What products work well, does anyone have any home remedies?

Well,cystic acne results from sensitive skin.The best thing u could do is by using an intensive skincare treatment to improve ur skin sensitivity so that no new breakouts will occur.Just cleanse,tone and moisturize twice a day to regulate ur sebaceous glands and prevent new breakouts.Use a purifying mask once a week to detoxify ur face.Facial treatment could enhance ur healing process too.And when ur acne becomes scars,include a scar serum to improve ur skin complexion.Good luck…

What are the substance that dermatologist inject with cystic acne?
Do anyone know what are the substance that dermatologist injecting if we have a cystic acne in face?
And what brand. is that antibiotics are over the counter?
If yes i still want to know the names of the antibiotics.
I’ve heard that dermatologist are the one who make their own antibiotics to inject.
I mean they are the one who mixed the substance to inject it to pimples. Please help me to find out what substance are use to.
