Dirty Cloth Diaper Storage- Pails, Liners, wet bags, or what?
Okay, I have so many questions! For those of you who use cloth diapers, how do you store yours until wash day? I plan on washing mine every 2 days or so. Should I get a pail? Do most ppl use a wet or dry pail? Do I use something like regular garbage bags in them or big wet bags that are reusable? I am so confused about this part of diapering and can’t seem to find anything online that says anything definite. Thanks for all the help!
I use a cheap plastic trash can with a lid, and a washable pail liner. I got it from Amazon, and the brand is Mommy’s Touch. I have two, so I just take the full one every other day, dump it in the washer, and throw the bag in to wash. I’ve never had to use anything for smell; I just wash every other day, and his room never smells like dirty diapers (which is more than I can say for my friends’ rooms with ’sposies!) For the diaper bag, I like the extra small Bummis bags.
Wet pails are big and messy, plus they’re hard on the diapers.
